Gary has spent well over a decade developing some of today’s most well known and respected players. Past players he coached include Nick Price; David Frost; Mark 'O Meara; Ernie Els and Andy Bean. He has directed the development of 75 AJGA All-Americans; 6 AJGA Players of the Year; 2 AJGA Sportsmanship award winners; 2 U.S. Amateur champions and 2 U.S. Junior champions. He is also responsible for recruiting some of the world’s best known junior players including Paula Creamer; Casey Wittenberg; Virada Nirapathpongporn; Chan Song; Aree Song; Naree Song; Candy Hannemann; David Gossett; Ty Tryon; Christo Greyling; Sean O’ Hair and Michelle Wie. Now, with his own academy at Mission Inn, Florida the Gary Gilchrist Golf Academy (GGGA) is a year-round junior golf academy that attracts students from all over the world to train at the highest level and to achieve peak performance in the shortest amount of time. His tour clientele includes Peter Hedblom; Suzann Pettersen; Song - Hee Kim and Nicole Perrot.
